International V-Label Assistant (Working Student) and Master Thesis (m/f/d)

Role Summary
As an International V-Label Assistant you will support the International V-Label team in projects in the fields of sales, business development, marketing, quality management and coordination. Furthermore you will get the chance to write your master thesis about a topic in sales you agreed on with the international V-Label team. We see this role very much as a stepping stone position, where you will be learning all about the V-Label and building out your skills to enable you to grow into a permanent employee. You will be employed by ProVeg, but the work is done on behalf of V-Label GmbH.

About V-Label GmbH
V-Label GmbH in Switzerland, as the owner of the trademark rights, coordinates the international cooperation on the V-Label. The V-Label has been an internationally recognized and protected trademark since 1996. All decisions are made in cooperation with the vegetarian and vegan organizations involved (e.g. Swissveg, ProVeg e.V., VGÖ). Since most of the certification work takes place locally in the individual countries, the majority of the income remains locally, usually around 90 percent. This allows the control work to be carried out professionally and local organizations to be supported. A small part of the income goes to V-Label GmbH in Winterthur to maintain brand protection and to extend it to other countries and product categories. In addition, the company also co-finances the international advertising for the V-Label, operates the international website and databases and ensures through coordination that the controls are equally strict in all countries.
Job Details
Reports to: Senior International V-Label Manager
Location: Work remotely from the DACH region
Weekly working hours: 15 - 20
Responsibilities
  • conducting own projects and assisting in projects to improve income, quality and efficiency of the V-Label (projects depending on qualification and interest)
    • Especially:
      • Assisting in the development and implementation of an international sales strategy
      • Assisting in creating and improving internal sales processes to support the V-Label teams internationally 
      • Assisting in the development of concepts for international fairs and events for proactive acquisition
  • a few administrative tasks
Qualifications
  • Ongoing master studies in Sales Management or similar 
  • First experiences in sales, preferably in the non-profit sector
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Excellent German (level: minimum ca. C2) and English (level: minimum ca. C1) language skills; any additional language is a plus
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills with an excellent eye for detail
  • Basic project management skills
  • Ability to manage time effectively
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
  • Good knowledge of relationship management skills and openness to feedback
  • Strong collaboration and excellent interpersonal skills with a positive & proactive work attitude and the ability to maintain positive employee relations
  • Willingness to communicate effectively with a wide range of international people, both in person and via telephone/online, e.g. good intercultural competencies
